Congrats on the buck!

Thats a funky looking rack on his right side! Looks like a big ol knot. I like that, makes him very interesting.

Ya, He does have some character. There's a Hole in the end of His Main Beam, looks like mabey a Worm got in there when He was in Velvet and then He also broke it off there too, but the break was an early one in Velvet also.
He was'nt a Big Buck either, we weighed Him at My Buddies Barn where we weigh all the Deer and Hang them, He was only 118 Dressed with a 16 1/4' Spread. Looking at Him I'd say He was a 2 1/2 Year Old Deer, but His size makes Me think He could possibly only be 1 1/2. But if He is only 1 1/2 and had the Head Gear He had then He was on His way to be a Decent Buck Rack wise.
It's not uncommon for there to be 200-220 lb Bucks taken in our area every year.
I think the Weather Man got our Weather Days backwards, as I sit here Today is the Windy Day, it's really Blowing out there with some Showers in the forecast. Not a Good outlook for through Thanksgiving week either.
