Oh and Semi if you read this I did try the Gum-Out Carbuerator Cleaner on the Barrel and still got the Brown Patches.
Oh poop. I don't know what to say. I've never had anything but clean patches after a soap & water bath followed by carb cleaner. I think you must have done something to anger the gods of muzzle loading.

I think your right Semi, the Deer Gods teamed up with Mother Nature the other day and Blew My Tree over with one of My favorite Permanant Stands in it from a Tornado. I have to go out and rebuild it later today befor our Opener this Saturday.
