i tried some of those as well with the 100gr load and it was around a 4" group. They load pretty easy. I could try 120gr with them next time and see how the smooths do.

Hey i have some .250 gr sst bullets and supplied sabots. are they not mmp-24 sabots that come with them? if so i will send you some to try.. Ray

Correction, they are shockwaves with the black supplied sabot. still think it's a mmp-24.. Ray

I never tried the Red CR but the Smooth short black with the 260gr in the NULA and the HPH-24 with a 300gr load the way i prefer. Both my current 50s are right at .500 so i doubt i could load a Red CR without a mallet. They should be about .508 loaded OD with a Harvester bullet and .509 with most other 45s.

The 300's shot very good in my TC PH with a black cr, 120gr of BH209, Win 209. Pretty decent recoil though.

yeah the even 260's have some good recoil to them with 120gr bh209.

builder, i hasnt a clue what sabots come with the shockwaves, remember, im a conical shooter! Sabots are still fairly a new subject for me.

Awesome, thank you. Im not cheap, just dont have a lot of funds available right now. I have to keep some $$ on the side to pay for an FFL fee.
