Muley i have shot the CVA wolf and it is a nice lil rifle for the money. should be a nice light weight package even with a scope.bullet choice is a no brainer, since you shot the Thor's in your Omega. the 300 gr flavor being a good choice with 90-110 gr of BH209. still have your jug of BH209? good luck old timer... I want to stay with a powder I can clean with water. I'll probably shoot Pyro RS. Easily available, and cheap. Low recoil. I'm going to hunt coyotes with the Wolf too. Probably some light cheap sabots. Maybe PT Golds should work. That will give me lots of real practice for the big game this fall, and i'll get to know what I can do with the gun.
I think 150 yds should be a good range for me with sticks, and the 3x9 scope that comes on the Wolf. Well see.
