With the treatment products they have on the market today for guns and rifles, that can be used in the barrel and the outside of the weapon, i see no need for SS and really never did prior to these products entering the market. if yah like SS buy it and if you don't buy blued if your worried about corrosion on the blued,buy one of the excellent coatings on the market and apply it to the metal. either way keeping weapons clean is always necessary to preserve either finish.
