I really think Nosler needs to do some rethinking and aggressive marketing on the bullets there discontinuing that work well in muzzleloaders. a nosler bullet expanded is a thing of beauty lol..especially when you consider how old the technoligy is or maybe how far advanced it was? Ray

i will be using the 250gr Thor this year for a bull elk. Plenty mojo behind that bullet!

Jon as good as that bullet is. the 300 gr would be a far better choice, especially on bull elk. Ray

i prefer the lighter weight 250. I'll most likely have a buck,bear and bull tag in my pocket and so the first 2 animals will be in the lower land with 200 yard shots being a possibility and the elk, a far shot of 100 yards if hes in the open. Most often they are not.

The 300gr would give you more umph at longer ranges IMO.
