Lets see how expensive Barnes are for me.
Barnes T-EZ $25 for a pack of 24.
Start of season..... 5 shots to make sure gun is still sighted in.
Deer and elk....1 shot ea if i'm lucky.
7 shots a year.
4 years cost $25.
If you're going to blast away at the range for no reason. Yes, they can be expensive.
It's a hunting bullet. Not a plinking bullet. Use something else for that.

I have some Barnes I found on sale several years ago but I'm almost out of them and can't justify paying what they go for normally. Of the XTP's I've shot, I haven't been able to get the accuracy out of them I would like to. Perhaps they'll shoot better out of the Pro Hunter.

When i saw this.
It sounded like you wanted them. Im not sure where the 500 came in at?
If i could get noslers, it would be what i would use. as your aware of they quit making the popular M/L bullets

I mentioned the 500 since it is a discontinued bullet and if i wanted to keep shooting them over the years, i would need to buy a lot of them..i have bullets i am buying in bulk, but there not for muzzle loaders. that is where my bullet money is going in these lean times..without starting a uproar, let's just say there for a survival situation i see coming in the very near future..
