Shoot you youngsters.... I am really old and if I could just figure out away to get rid of Montana - the distance would not be that bad... I drove from Billings to Miles City once! and that is a long way...

That's easy to solve. get someone to go with you. Get to Montana at night.Let them drive while you sleep.When you wake up you will be in Wyoming and almost here. You will never know Montana existed.

Shucks Sabotloader, do you have any idea how much nothing there is in the 1400 miles between New Orleans and Martin S.D.? I drove through Kansas one time and got real excited when I spotted a guy on a tractor about a quarter mile off the side of the I-70. He was the first sign of life in many, many miles.

Shoot Wyoming is not that far - been there lots - so I gotta go across Wyoming. Well Wyoming is not that big but Idaho is down there. Still a loooonnnngggg way.
