A Box of Gold
Hey guys, remember my post a couple of weeks ago about the guy in Thibodaux, LA who offered to give me some old Muzzle Blasts magazines?
Well, he called me last night saying he was making a trip to New Orleans today and would bring them with him. I met him on side the highway and picked them up.
I was expecting a dozen or two issues. What I got was a 30 lb. box of gold - every issue from March 1970 to February 1980. WhoooWheeeee!

An ad from the March 1970 issue.
I think I'll order one of the $99.50 Belgian made CHARLEVILLE Muskets and a $24.50 flintlock DUELLER. Maybe even one of those $19.50 28 gauge fowlers.

Well, that looks like enough reading material to keep a guy busy for a long while! Enjoy. I have never owned a traditional blackpowder firearm but i must say they intrigue the Hell out of me. My hat's off to anybody that shoots the traditional way. After all, these are our roots.................. -Q

Century Arms? Boy have they survived with a different world of firearms. That looks like one of the old Klein company adds. I had a friends Dads die and he told me to get come get his old hunting magazines. I ended up with Field and Stream and Outdoor life from the 50 and 60s, I must of gotten a hundred magazines. I was in heaven, good reading to you and congrats on the new treasure.
