well for one, they chopped 2" of barrel off, added some rubber to make up for it in price and then tell you the rifles only designed to shoot sabots and not conicals.

If that is the only reason you can justify your first statement then you lost the debate....pure and simple.

Pricing compared to the closest model Accura V2 is too close to warrant such an opinion without hard facts.

You dont have a problem with CVAs 2010 Accura pricing so the bias is obvious. Both are good guns. One may or may not shoot conicals better and the other is more BH209 friendly.

As i said its a totally different barrel than other Omegas, so you know it wont shoot conicals how???? I haven't seen a single review of the Dream Season.

Maybe you could show me one that proves it wont shoot conicals. I know many other early versions would not....generally speaking.

The Dream Season Omega also comes with a Power rod. The QLA is a great idea, and i think all ML'S should have them.

Please stop side stepping the question.

Why is it grossly over priced?...just because it may or may not shoot conicals?

Well a CVA isnt rated for over 110gr of loose powder and an Omega is more BH209 friendly so i guess it is a wash.

I would love to see MD give an honest review on something other than a Cva.........Seems he has a future in politics....Just vote your party line.
A guest at our eastern shore lease had a new dream season.
The stainless steel barrel is one option I wish my Triumph had, second the looks and feel are really nice. Over priced???? That should be up to the buyer.
I paid over $1000 for my Prohunter setup and it never bothered me once.
When you buy something cheap instead of a better quality item ...You get what you paid for...how many times does that statement come true.

Im not even a big fan of most T/C MLs but i do really like the basic design of an Omega action and i do like 2-3 models. The Dream Season and X7 are 2 nice guns IMO but the DS is a better value.

I also liked my Accura V1 45cal and i only had a couple of rather minor complaints about it. CVA corrected one of them with the V2.

I got a great trade for mine, so it served its purpose and i can still shoot it when i want.

IMO $439 at Buds for a Dream Season is very fairly priced if that is what trips your trigger. I would have one now if i could get one in 45cal but it looks like i will have to settle for the $300 Omega SS/Black 45s i found online and remove a few inches.

The same place has gray laminate SS 50cals for $400 and $4.95 flat rate shipping if the OP wants a fancier model.

I do my best to not be a "brand whore" but i do love my Knights with the Lehigh conversion. I dont get any favors or "bennies" for recommending any brand but......well you know.

You must have missed my review on the great plains rifle and the knight LK93. Or Grouse's Range rod.

What happens to the guys that pay $1000 for a tc and end up with hinge pin loosen, an out of center bore that wont shoot conicals " its the twist you know" weak lock up springs? What then.

The grossly part, well consider the source. It pushes power belts and cheap guns.

The Omega is right up there with the Knight Elites as far as right out of the box accuracy with a variety of different bullets.
