I have to say the rifle is heavy 8.8 lbs but it can drive tacks
I was out to day using 85Gr. triple 777 3F with 325 HPBT BUffalo bullets and every hole inside each other nice cluster group with 5 shots.
I have a straight Simmons 6x on it with a 4.25" eye relief:I think the barrel is 28 or 29"

I had it out again last week Man one rag hole shooting gun:I have to say it seem to grown on you the way she print group
I found the extra weight helps with the triple 777 95 grains and a 325 Buffalo SSB bullet .I am not a fan of recoil and in my light weight thunderhawk my max: charge of triple 777 runs at 80 gr with the SSb bullet/sabot.
The cva extra weight really tames recoil
