Default Problem

I went to shoot the wife's Optmia Pro and the trigger wouldnt release the hammer. Finally I got the trigger to release, but now it wont ****. Gonna tear it down and see if I can figure out whats wrong, thought some of y'all might have an idea?

Check the hammer block mecanism something is broke or has some trash jamming it.

Take the trigger off if possible. If not remove the barrel from the stock at least. Take the trigger assembly outside and spray the insides of it with brake or carburetor cleaner. Then shake out the spray as best as you can. After that oil the assembly. My Knights do that from time to time. Its a simple fix with them, and maybe it will work with your Optima.

Had a similar issue with my Genesis. Turned out the safety wasn't fully in the on or the off position, but in between.
