I was looking through my stuff and found a scope mount for the round barrel Thompson Center rifles. But I think I will use that on my Black Mountain Magnum instead.

I also have a 12 gauge barrel for the New Englander. It is a lot of fun to hunt grouse with that shotgun. Although since the dog died, I might have a little trouble hitting them when I am not ready for them. He at least showed me where they were and I could get ready for them. Sure miss the old devil.

My first MZ was a 50 New Englander.Still have it, still shoots very well. My favorite deer load is 80 gr BM3 and a 385 Great Plains conical. Puts big ugly holes in deer out to 85 yds.Might be farther but that is my limit with open sights.
