I only have 13 days left before the season ends. Any chance of getting one now , so I can try it out hunting instead of having to wait til next season??

The four extra plugs have been already mailed out. I would suggest trying it after hunting season anyway.

Don't get in a big hurry to do that. I want a FPJ plug made for the Knights. I would rather use them hunting then a bare 209 primer.

chetmarks

There is a plan in the works to make a clean FPJ plug and the possibilitiy of it happening are way on the good side.

I still like the idea of the FPJ sealing the breech from moisture being able to get through the BP to the powder. Often the weather we hunt is miserable with rain and wet snow. Plus with my old stubby fingers the FPK is a lot easier to handle than a 209 primer.

I agree with both of you. I like the full plastic jacket for hunting also. If that is an option i would probably take both styles of breech plug. One for target shooting and one for hunting especially in bad weather

Yep, that's exactly my plan.

The holder on the left is a Lehigh, the one on the right is a factory Knight holder. You can see the differeence in material on the right side of each.

Here's a picture with the factory Knight Holder in The Disc Elite.

1) Will this set up fit a Knight LRH?

2) Is the new breechplug a convex design instead of a domed type plug?

I never owned a LRH to tell you the truth. If it uses an extreme plug yes.

This plug has a vent-liner in it.
