When I shoot at the range I put a sandbag between me and the gun and focus on trigger control. No kick to worry about, and I want to test the gun, not myself. Another good training device is a pellet gun. I've put many thousands of shots through my gamo and it's super cheap to shoot. Easy way to practice good shooting habits that will move over to firearms.
