Default Freezer now full

I went to the woods this morning. It was a litle warmer than I generally like but not bad. I shed my jacket and left it in the truck and walked to my stand as it was just getting daylight.

I settled into my stand and began to enjoy watching the woods come alive. At 9:20 I heard the sound of leaves rustling on the ground on the right of my stand and as I looked down I saw a deer trot benieth my stand and when he became visible again I had my rifle to my shoulder and the **** back.

He he was either doing a slow trot or a fast walk but when he reached the twenty yard range I said B-aaa, and he came to a stop. I fired into his left shoulder and he dropped in his tracks.

He was not much on antlers but had a nice size body. He field dressed 120 lbs. I was using a little 50 caliber flintlock rifle with a PRB ahead of 70gr. of Goex 3-f.

Now that I have filled my freezer I will hunt for Mr.Big.

I did not get a complete pass through. I may have to back off on the charge a little bit. The ball came to rest just under the skin behond the right shoulder. The ball flattened out to.735 in diameter and is .234 crom the flat side to the apex of the curved side of the ball. It now has the shape of a baby moon hubcap.

Did the photobucket picture not work?
