Trying new things with a Wolverine
#11
The reason I went with the Montana products in my last (used) Wolverine I purchased was, when that came to the house, the bore was terrible. There was light pitting but the entire barrel was gray looking.
Holding the barrel up to the light, you could and still can see very light pitting just in front of the breech plug, but that bore just did not shine. The difference now is, that barrel shines and I no longer get any of them gray colored patches out of it like before. I figured this was a real good test for that Montana products. So far, that Wolverine (this is my stainless model LK-93) is a great shooter and easy to clean.
