Default The new (used) ML

Well, it was pretty obvious that either the custom ML I was telling you guys about was never shot or the person who had it didn't know how to shoot.
I took it out yesterday and shot a variety of conicals and PRBs.
Initially using the PRBs, it was all over the place until I found out why. After about the 5th shot, I saw the smoldering culprit about 10 yds down range. The patches were burning up. Putting a felt wad between the powder and ball solved the problem quickly. However, everything I shot went about 6" low and 4" left. With no file or punches with me to move the sights I had to wait until today. I drifted the rear sight a bit right and filed the front sight down a tad. I've found that this little rifle likes 250 REAL bullets snf PRBs (.490" and .015" patch). But it is a powder hog and digests 100 gr of FFFg for good accuracy.
Its real purdy and only weighs in at around 6 or 7 lb. I would send you pics but I'm afraid MountainDevil will drool all over himself.

Sounds like a beautiful rifle. I am sure once you get it all set up it will serve you well. Maybe a picture would help MD drool a little faster.. me too.

Well, it sure is pretty. It's great when you get a gun that likes REALs. What twist does it have?

Semi - I'm not sure but the best guess with a tight patch is that it is a 1:48 or there about.
