I use Hoppies # 9 for my sabot rifles and slug barrels on my shotgun. The hot water treatment I reserve for my roundball rifles.

Hoppes #9 Solvent, a nylon bore brush, and some patches on a Spin Jag works great for me. But I don't shoot anywhere near the amount of bullets/sabots that Grouse says he does.
