I went to the MMP web site and there are two different MMP - Green sabots. Do I need to get the MMP Green HPH 12 for the heavier bullets. I'm using the 265 gr. FTX. Thanks for all your help guys.

The ones that i had measured were the HPH-12 Green Sabots... I did not have any Standard Green sabots to measure - I had sent all of them to alleyooper. But, I THINK, the last time I talked to MMP and I talked to Del's son - he indicated at this time all MMP sabots including the standard line had been switched to the HPH type polymere.
Suggestion, call MMP - Connie will probably answer, ask her if you could speak to Del or his son and they can answer if the two are the same size. Both Del and his son are very down home easy to talk to.
It seems to me that the standard was even thicker than HPH but that was a long time ago....
