Hogs?

I'd probably take my Lyman Deerstalker and load it with 90gr Pyrodex RS pushing a 185gr PRB. I could shoot this accurately out to at least 100 yds but wouldn't shoot further than 75yds probabaly. Hopefully 60yds or less!

I can carry two guns in my aluminum airline case so I would also take the PH with the Bushnell 3200 Elite 3-9X40mm BR and load it with a 275gr Parker BE. I would use 110gr of BH209 and could shoot at least 200yds but would still like to shoot under 100.

Since the pro hunter's scope got rattled loose the other day and without further testing,it would be ol'e reliable,
the cva staghorn, 250 sw,100 grain loose pyrodex,150 yards max.

i will grab my cheap old CVA StagHorn that has killed dozens of hogs. It will be loaded with 100 grains of Goex Pinnacle powder and the 370 grain Maxi-Ball. I will limit myself to shots under 100 yards. Oinkkkkk.

Here is the scenario...

The telephone rings. Its your best hunting buddy. He tells you his hunting trip that him and his brother have planned for over a year has a new flaw. His brother just fell on the ice. He broke his leg. They have the plane tickets purchased. They have the camp and guide booked. And he wants to know if you would go on a three day all expense paid hog hunt. One catch, we leave in three hours.

Well I most always have my hunting kit packed have some friends that have hog problems and I like to help them out if they call.

Lets for the sake of fun, you don't have to go to work for four days for any reason you like to make up. Lets throw in your better half is away visiting friends and took the kids, dog, and snake (if you're into that).. Also all the sporting good stores are closed so there is no time to stock up on shooting supplies...
I have enough for at least one year and am stocking up. Who knows what kind of fanatical bands and taxes the fanatics will lay on us.

This is a traditional rifle hunt... what rifle do you grab, powder, and projectile. Everything else is packed. And what range are you going to limit yourself out to?
My home made long barreled Hawken, 54 cal some 535 balls and some pyrodex and caps and ticking.
Normally 175 yds as I have a special sight on it I designed my self for the Hawken match at friend ship.

This is an inline rifle hunt. What rifle do you grab, powder, and projectile. Every thing else is packed. And what range are you going to limit yourself out to?
Triumph, BH209,250 sw and 250 Gold Dot. 200 yds normally

Traditional choice would be my .54 Great Plains Rifle with 90 grains of ffg Goex and a pillow ticked .530 round ball. 75 yards max with these old eyes.
Inline choice would be my .50Knight Elite and a 300 grain Nosler Partition with 95 grains of ffg 777.175 yards would be far enough for me.
Let's go !! When are we leaving this frozen tundra?

I have only a limited supply of things sooooooo, Omega, .250 S/W, BH and tree spikes! Since my bullet isntbig enough to go on the hunt, I climb a tree, shoot em and then after I get em good & pissed off I wait for my buddy to come to the rescue!
