Default Butler Creek Flip-up lens covers

I'm trying to find the correct size flip up covers for aNikon Omega scope. The objective measures 1.938 and the eye 1.618 . Does anyone have flip up covers on their Omega scope. I used to have them on a 6x18 50MM Redfield . I don't remember if they strech fit or not

The best thing to do is take the scope to the store and find what fits. The sizes listed on the packaging can be a little decieving.

I agree with SWThomas. I got some for my 270 and I just took the scope off the gun and went to Bass Pro and figured out what fit. I know that ideally they fit pretty snug, but I don't know if they take a little bit of interference fit into consideration when they rate the sizes. The one I got for the business end fits nice and tight, but the one for the eye piece slides if you put a little torque on it because the next size smaller didn't fit at all for that end. I think you have to find what comes closest to what you need and deal with it.

If you don't have the option to test in person, you may want to contact the company and ask their opinion before you order.

Many Cabelas catalogs have a fitting guide in the catalog for these covers, you just hold the scope bell on the page. I did it once, worked like a charm.
