Default FPB's

I was wondering if anyone out yonder has ever tried the Hornadys fpb in a white rifle? I bought some 350gr at Wally world the other day, they had them marked down.

Nope. They shoot well in my Genesis. Load is 100 gr loose Pyrodex RS. Works great on deer.

Does your rifle have a standard 50 cal bore? These bullets are supposed to work in "tight" and "loose" 50 cal bores. Let us know how they fly.

Here's some info - if you can get them moving around 1500 fps, you can sight in for 2.5 high at 75 and be about 3 - 3.5 low at 150. Zero is at 125.

They work quite well in my Umag .504. I checked to make sure they would not shake off the load and also checked them after a couple of days bouncing around in my truck while hunting, they stayed put. I am shooting them with 110gr of 777 3F and gettingaround 1700fps. Typical groups are under 2" at 100 yards, no swabbing, using a peep sight. Unfortunately I haven't shot any game with them yet.
