The results

Set-up: Knight DISC MH, BH209, Win209 at 110yards (100 meters), 3 shots groupe

SST 250gr and 110grs
HPH-12: 1''3/8 and 1''
HPH-24: 4''
HPH-24 + Scotch T: 1''1/2

SST 300 and 100grs
HPH-12: 2'' and 2''
HPH-24: 6''
HPH-24 + Scotch T: 1''3/4

Barnes 300 Exp and 100grs
Ez-Load: 4''1/4
Ez-L + Masking T: 2''

I think, as long I have OD of .507-.508 it shoots smaller groups than a loose sabot.

<<I would worry about the adhesive tape not coming off the bullet in a uniform manner, and causing instability as the bullet sheds the tape, or only part of it. But it's worth a try. Should be interesting.

That was also my concern BUT the Masking Tape never left the bullet!!! I found it with the bullet behind the target. I can't say for Scotch tape.

I think I'll try paper later but no so sure about Christmass tape

Good report Salar. First one I've seen with the tape thing. Never would have thought masking tape would stay on a bullet like that for 100 meters. Did you have a one-thickness wrap, or more?
