The T/C mountI used provides plenty of clearance for the torch cam to operate. You can't keep your finger on top of it throughout its range of travel, but it easily passes under the scope. No issues cocking the hammer either, with or without the supplied spur. I did have to mount the scope as far forward as these mounts would allow, but everything worked fine.

I just called Traditons and changed that to high rings and the one piece base..

They should update their site.I believe I did use a set of high WEAVER rings on the Genesis - but I think the medium Warnes would have worked. As I recall, the upward part of the rotation of that cam is only about 3/8".

I've slept since then.

That is really a nice looking rifle. Have you shot it yet?

That's the old one. Yes, I shot it a little. Not enough to do any real load development (and only conicals - I think). It's long gone.

That picture of the gun is useful. I had to remove my rear sight to mount my scope, so it is likely that the T/C gorilla grip mounts and rings are lower than those pictured. I don't recall the packaging indicating high medium or lowthough.

The gorilla mounts are Mediums. I have those on mine
