winchester #11's test
#1
winchester #11's test
rifle:
tc new englander
caps:
cci #11 mag
win bp #11 mag
I started out by popping on cci #11 mag to clear the channel.
I placed an dry patch down the barrel holding it in place with the ram rod.
first up with the cci.
the burn mark was perfectly round did not put an hole in the patch.
second up was the winchesters.
the same as the cci's.
so far, they are acting the same. making me think of what I saw when I put the tins side by side and the caps them selves side by side.
winchesters are just repackaged cci's.
the next test is going to be the same as this one but with my knight usak.
once I get some pyro p, I will check them with my knights fav. load.
85grs pyro p and .430 240gr xtp and it fav. powerbelt load, 245gr or 295gr over 75grs of triple 7 2f.
