Besides that you will have better results with the regular one under about 1850 FPS.

Works for me. The regular .430, 240 grain XTP bullets have accounted for a lot of hogs and deer that i dragged home or gave away.

I checked the package and the bullets areTC Mag express 240 grain XTP bullets. It does not say XTP Mags but I measured the bullets and they are .452.

Looking at Hornady's site, it appears the only 240 grain.45 caliber XTPs are Magnums. Does this sound right?

Not all .451-452 240 grain XTP bullets areMagnum bullets.

I am not saying your wrong as I may be reading it wrong myself. But with the link you provided, the only .45 cal 240 grain bullet I found was an XTP Mag.

You are correct. Thenon-mag is 250 grain.

Like Rebel Hog, i use the .430 240 grain bullet: It is a very effective bullet andmost of my friends use them. The BC is better than the .45 caliber bullet.

I have a bunch of Speer Gold Dot 210 grain .429 bullets and some green crush rib sabots. I will try them at the range next time as well.
