i saw an ad in a magazine about the new triple 7 magnum pellets. they said only 2 pellets will increase your velocity by 200 fps. whats the difference between the regulars and the mags?

Default RE: whats the difference?

The old pellets are reduced in weight to equal the same velocity of the Pyrodex RS pellets. The new magnum are actual 50 volume pellets. So they are like shooting 120 grains of loose Pyrodex RS. Many of the magnum rifles shoot best with 110-120 grains of loose powder. This is Triple Se7en's attempt to make it easier for pellet shooters to get that little edge over the two standard pellets while still staying safe, below the max 150 grain charges..
