Well with all this talk about a new rifle you gave me the bug I just bought a lyman deerstalker percussion 54 cal with a lyman peep Price 175.00 including shipping. Supposed to have only fired 50 shots. They sell new for 278.00 plus 60.00 for the peep. Sounds about right for price I think.

let me think for a minute. no, I may be able to shoot sabots but I am going to slowly switch to all conicals over the next year or so

Dave is to busiy outside this time of the year. I am too. He gets the itch in the middle of winter when he has time to watch the auction sites. I just hate to be an impulse buyer but this was too good to let go.
