Thanks – I am not in a hurry to shoot it. I think I’ll do a lot of reading ans asking advice first. I think I will bed the recoil lug first it is loose in the stock. I bed my omega and had good results.

I just thought I would do a little bedding work before I put the scope on. I have all my tools out for bedding and I think I will just bed recoil lug and between the screws. I have a SS barrel and I am trying to decide on black or silver rings and scope. I bought some black Leupold mount but I might change my mind. I like to play with loads and bullets so it sounds like I'll have fun with the Savage ML.
