Help & maybe win a prize!
There's a thread on thefiringline.comrequesting to start a new "Muzzle loading GearFor Sale" sub-forum.
Someone has offered anincentive prize of a scope mountif 50 people post on the thread becausehe justdoesn't believe that muzzle loading is popular enough for the goal to be reached.
Anyone want to help the thread reach the goal of at least 50 poststo show that there's enough interest in establishing a new sub-forum like the one here on huntingnet.com?
Thanks for helping out!

RE: Help & maybe win a prize!
Sorry, but this doesn't excite me. Read the post he is talking about:
if you get 50 or more real muzzleloaders to reply to this post i will send, completely free of charge, a foward mount for a Phantom scope (which are no longer made and nobody wants) to the 50th post.
this is the mount that was offered for winchester model 94's specific to the phantom scope. nothing else will fit.
those of you that know about this combo know that the recoil caused the scope reticles to bend and sometimes the scope would fly off the mount.
so, this mount is essentially worthless but i paid 20 bucks for it so i could tell the story.
brand new in plastic case.
free to the 50th muzzleloader!!
show your support for a dying art!

You sir, are missing the point, in my opinion. But feel free to be as sarcastic as you want.
I could care less about some scope mount for arifle I don't own.
I think a ML only classified section of a website I frequent is something I am interested in.
In your own words, "read the post".
Look beyond the obvious and take into consideration the benefits that maybe "others" and not just yourself may derive from an addition to the website in question.
Sorry for your luck with the the scope mounts. Your sarcasm really stirred me.

RE: Help & maybe win a prize!
You are right, I should not have been sarcastic, and I agree that anything that helps promote our sport is a good thing. Just thought the original poster should have been a little more up front with the tongue in cheek prize. Sorry.
