From what I see...there is very little junk out there. Most are decent to excellent quality!

I do not know what your defination of "nice/premium" is if you are talking price,go out and buy an Ultimate. Anything starting at $1600.00 cant be JUNK.

I've hunted out west....ie rifles, and in IL shotgunonly deer, can hunt coyotes etc...with rifles. So even though were shotgun only for IL deer, I think most of us own a few rifles.....

i said Junk to get attention to my question, and meant that typically antying thats a do it all, tends to be a do it all ok or maybe well, but not great! and when i buy a firearm i want to di it great! i dont want to buy a new rifle/caliber simply to have it, id rather spend the bucks than to simply have another firearma nd the advertising saying 1 gun for everything, doesnt impress me at all. Just like sure a .30-06 can do it all, but like many guys say, once you start having a few rifles, the .30-06 loses its appeal. Surely youd rather a .375H&H for a large brown bear than a .30-06? and a .270 over a .30-06 for a 500yd antelope shot.....etc....etc...I'm sasying if i buy a muzzleloader, im only going to use it as a muzzleloader and I want it to be a great muzzleloader, nothing else. I have shotguns and rifles, so I dont need a muzzleloader thats a shotgun and rifle. just a muzzleloader. I'm not he only person who sees these commercials and thinks junk, ive mentioned it to other guys, we all joke about it. how they come off and hokey.

I have yet to see an ad for a nice/premium muzzleloader, do they exist?

Here is one: http://www.savagearms.com/10mlbtssii.htm

this gun will shoot 1.5" groups out of the box and can shoot smokeless and BP or BP substitutes (Pyrodex, 777, Am Pioneer, etc). Chap Gleason
