My 21" Carbine Barrel
Guys, couldn't stand it. I had to get out and shoot my new GM carbine barrel today. Even though it was 34 degrees and windy. The wind was blowing the powder right out of the pan at times while I was charging it. But anyway, getting it close and changing targets, here are the results. Not too bad for being so nasty out. The hole in the bull was the last shot after a slight sight adjustment. I called it a day after that. Will give it a good workout when it warms up. Load was 90 gr of FFFg, wonder wad and 275 gr maxihunter.

Cayugad, Chap, Bronko,
Did they have the 15/16" 28"long 1:28 twist flintlockbarrels on sale as well or was it just the shorter 21" carbine barrels they had on sale?
I have a heck of a time contacting this company because of their business hours; I leave for work at 5:00 a.m. and don't get home in time to call them by closing time. Tried on the cell a couple times but can't hold a volume enough to find out what they have on sale.

That was 50 yds. All in all it was a comedy of errors today. I had a few times when the frizzen powder went off but not the main charge. I changed the touch hole (probably oil in the one from GM). Then had the flint come off the hammer. I had put a new leather on it and it probably wasn't compressed enough. Later had to replace the flint. Then swabbing after each shot. I put my golves down to swab the bore, I had to run them down a couple times.
