RE: Knight KRB Rolling block or Knight Revolution II
I was disapointed this weekend. Took the wife down to Southern Illinois for our anniversary, cabin rented and all. I went to Paducah, KY to Shooters Supply and Gander Mountain specifcally to shoulder the KRB, Savage 10ML, and look at the Omega's. Wasn't really impressed with the Omega or the Triumph when I picked them up, didn't really like the feel. The Savage was nice, had a good feel. I couldn't believe neither place had a KRB. What a bummer. Gander Mountain didn't even carry Knight. I guess I'll have to keep looking. Did see plenty of deer, turkey, and a few yotes running the fields. So it wasn't a total loss. Couldn't get to some places I wanted to look for sheds, the place is a swamp with all the rain. Just spent quality time with the little lady.

Thanks Ron, I'm happier than a hillbilly on a flat patch of land!
sjsfire,
After taking into consideration the input from several people on this site with a lot more knowledge than I, (don't get a fat head, having more knowledge than me isn't hard)I bought my KRB7 and must say the more I shoulder it and fondle it the more I like it. Brother in law who is a die hard Omega man keeps hounding me to go shoot it, I tell him I don't want to get the barrel dirty. In reality I don't have a scope on it and I'm going to scopeit, when I decide which one, so why shoot it until it is complete? One thing that I really thought was nice was the entire trigger assembly just drops out the bottom of the KRB7 and slips in slicker than my sidewalks are right now. While looking at itin the store, I swear the inners of the trigger assembly was all stainless also, regardless it's going to make cleaning a lot easier. Gotta get some Hornady 385 gr HP conicals and I'm ready.... OK, -10 and wind chills of around -23 maybe I'm not ready.... Guess I'll watch Dances With Wolves again, take a nap, see if I can drag that out until spring.

WalMart was closing out all of their hunting stuff and I got a CVA muzzleloader scope pkg for cheap. The scope is actually a Bushnell. The pkg came with the rings and bases to mount on various muzzleloaders, fit great on my KRB.
Now I just need some more range time.
