Well I did it- got a .45 to try
I shot my Omega yesterday – same results – The 300SST 100 gr T& ff under 1” inch..375 duplex dead center 2-4” groups. So I decided to try a .45 caliber. Sportsman’s Guide had a nickel CVA Kodiak for $117. Maybe I am crazy and like to play. Got a 4-12 Swift scope to put on it. Any Ideas on what loads and bullets to start with? I am interested in the flattest load that will shoot fairly accurate.

200 Shockwave as fast as it will shoot accurately.
I used to shoot DCs but my Omega will not shoot ANY of them accurately at reasonable charges. The BC of some of them is better than the SW but I can push the SW a lot faster so it more than makes up for it...and for much less money.
