Zugunruhe - one of the things I've noticed is that all 50 cal. jags are not the same. I went to the range without my jag one day and had to buy one there. It turned out to be a bit more difficult to get down the barrel with my swabbing pathces. I thought it must be a hair larger diameter, but turns out it is longer, not wider. The added length caused more barrel to patch surface contact.

Maybe for your Triple 7 you could find a shorter jag or modify one to make life easier?

Good thought, I do have another jag that came with a cleaning kit that I'll try.

I may give the TC Mag Express .430 sabots a try as well. The 270gr. Gold Dot sits in that sabot quite nicely.
