Default 2 days till opening day and getting ready

ML is ready as I can get with me having to do a last min. load change. I have bullets packed. Going to ready my charges tomarrow. going to respray my hunting cloths tonite. find my scent cover disc.

I am thinking of packing up some 245 gr powerbelts I have and pick up some 30 gr pellet I found for $10 for a 24 pack just in case I need a really fast second shot, which I am not planning to do. I may not waste the money. Buying the wife some flowers is better idea.

lol I changed my mind in mid sintance. oops

I know what you mean, here in MO our season opens saturday and I'm constantly changing my mind on whether or not I need those last minute toys. Good luck I hope you have better weather than us with 60 degree temps and rain. What happened to 30s on opening day?

I'll be out for our opening Saturday morning also. Still haven't decided whether to sit on a ladder stand in the woods with the .58 Zouave looking at a max of 50 yards, or in my box stand over a 170 yard foodplot with the Mustang. I'm leaning towards the woods stand but, dang it, got pictures of two good bucks with the trail camera on the foodplot.

Yes. The deer belong to the State of Va, not the property owner, in England they belong to the land owner. You cannot shoot wild game on your property because they destroying your garden, you have to get a Permit from VA Game and Inland Fisheries. Chap

In VA you can hunt w/out a liscense on YOUR OWN LAND. But if you're on someone else's private property you will need a liscense.
