Omega and scope mounts?
I have a Tally one piece scope/ring mount on my Omega now. I'm not too fond of it. I dont like the way you can "flex" up and down the scope with little pressure. Plus I've had it come loose twice. So, I'm taking it back to Cabelas and exchange it for a 2 piece style. What base and rings do I need for the Omega? As you Omega owners know the mounting holes for the bases are close together so, I'd have to have a longer front base. The scope base charts arent helping me much trying to figure out what bases I need. The last time I was at Cabelas, they didnt seem to knowledgeable either! Thanks

If your gun is blued or camo I would recomend T/C Maxima Mounts there steel and very good if your gun is stainless and you prefer silver mounts then T/C Gorilla Grips , for some reason T/C doesn't make Maximas in silver or at least I've never been able to find them....

RE: Omega and scope mounts?
Just got back from Cabelas. Man I'm glad they opened up a store hereEndedup getting the TC Maxima steel rings and TC Maxima one piece steel base. No flex with this baby, steel is the only weay to go. Also walked out with a Nikon Omega 3x9 scope. Didnt get the BDC rectical, went with the Nikoplex rectical. The BDC would be nice if I was only shooting 150 grs and a 250 gr bullet. But I'm not, heck is was 10 bucks cheaper anyway. Thanks for all your help.Going to get this thing together and burn some powder this weekend.
