My longest was 180 yards. I was using a Knight Disc using 110gr t7 2f and a 375 ssb sabot.

Wow, thats some good shooting there. I never thought I would get into muzzleloaders as much as I have. I use to think shotgun hunting was the best but not anymore I really enjoy black powder. Well thanks for taking the time to answer again great shooting guys!!..............Shaun

River Rat

The best I have ever done was around 230 yards. I was using a range finder that day and ranged the deer at 233 yards before I pulled the trigger. You could hear the bullet hit the deer and by the way the deer acted you knew he was hit hard. He ran 10 yards fell over dead. Best shot to date and shortly after that shot I took another deer at 170 yards. Then the scope fell apart and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Longest shot with a ML was at 50 paces (probably reasonably close to 50 yards). Double lung shot and the deer rolled right down the hill to my feet.
