RE: WI,deer
Follow this link to the WI DNR website. You can find out about deer densities in various zones. We have a very large deer population in general. Of course, I didn't see any bow hunting last night

Here is a link to the CWD page.

I do not believe there are any positive test results from the NE part of the State. Its primarily in the south-central regions.

RE: WI,deer
NE Wisconsin.. do you know the county? It might be Ashland, Door, Bayfield, etc. There is no cronic waste disease in the North Eastern parts. The CWD is more south centeral located. As for deer numbers, there used to be a lot of them. Now there are wolves in parts, so deer numbers are hard to judge. There are some Monster Bucks in the North Eastern part. Let me know the name of a city close by and I could tell you a little more about the area.

Iron Mountain MI is over there by Niagara & Florence Wisconsin. That is a nice area of the State. I do not think the CWD is over there. As for the deer herd, I have not hunted over there. I am closer to Lake Superior. There is a lot of forests over there to hunt. It might be a lot of fun. Good luck what ever you decide.
