Omega Z5 25ACP conversion?

RE: Omega Z5 25ACP conversion?
I went ahead with the conversion a month ago and I'm not looking back. It's terrific on all accounts. Cleaner, easier to load/unload primers, and did I mention cleaner? My scope was baked with blowback which I've now cleaned off permanently. I don't know if it's more accurate since I've been working up some loads and learned that I had been shooting a bad combo for the past year. But it works great. Be prepared for some at home busy work with cleaning, depriming, and repriming but it's no reason not to go for it. Highly recommended. Thanks frontier gander, sabotloader, and MLKeith for your recommendation.
Also, check out semisane's recommendationfor another method of depriming that I'm looking forward to trying (the 5/16 socket method). Tom

RE: Omega Z5 25ACP conversion?
Thanks for all the info!! My lazer range finderfor bow hunting came yesterday, so my VariFlame should be here today or tomarrow. Heck I might as well use the rangefinder for ML season too. Even though I don't really need it for that. I got a surprise check so I went ahead and bought one for bow season. It was only $148 shipped for the Yardage Pro Sport 450 model. (cheapest) but they wanted $180+tax at Wally World. I had it out yesterday playing around with it and it really works good. Don't know about brush or rain, but it's supposed to have the built in feature. we'll see......
