RE: lookin for a cheap but good scope for omega!
I have been testing a value priced scope for a while that may be of interest to some. Here is a link to the model I have and the dealer I got it from.

I'm still testing it but so far after about 50 to 75 rounds of mostly heavy conicals it is doing well. The set up of the reticle is a type of balistic plex that on 9x has about 4.5" between tick marks and 7" between the rangefinding graduations at the bottom. I have been able to taylor my sight in so that I hit within an inch of POA at 100 yards with the center crosshair and 150 with the next tick mark down, 200 yards on the second tick mark, 225 or so for the third tick mark and 250 or so for the fourth tick mark using a 460gr conical. With lighter/faster bullets it can stretch out to around 300 yards at the fourth tick mark.
As I stated, I am still testing the scope but so far it looks and works good. They also have a shotgun scope that has an interesting reticle design that should work well for deer hunting that is easier to use and marked in yards. Here is a link to it.

dmurphy317 those are interesting scopes to say the least. Especially the shotgun model. Although, I noticed the eye releif in the scope would tend to worry me a little. I normally shoot scopes with at least 3.5 inches of relief. Keep us posted as to how well it works.
