I never heard of the rifle but that is not a big surprise. If you have pictures of it, post them please. Traditions have traditional model muzzleloaders on all ends of the price list, from very cheap to very expensive (compared to some). It would be interesting to know why this model went down the way of many. As for its value, without knowing the rifle I could not say or guess. Flintlocks are getting harder to come by, but quality is quality. This is especially true when dealing with the locks on these rifles.

Hope he isn't planning on selling it to screw someone else over like he did with me after he said he would buy my AR and then didn't respond to any further communications about it.

I would say that was to much. Ive had many people tell me they were going to buy something and after doing all the work to getting the part out and boxed and a shipping quote, they never email back. Just one of those things where u have to shrug it off and just put it back in line for another person.
