I personally cast mine to 525 grains. It is a very accurate bullet. I do not lube them, but I probably should. A simple liquid Alox would work, or even Bore Butter.

Just remember that in a 50 caliber rifle, this bullet would not be legal in Colorado. They are limited to not be over twice the diameter of the width. thanks for sharing the "how to" info!

To TxHunter: I use to hunt elk in CO with an MZ. This mold can be adjusted so that it is legal in CO. I believe you are talking about the ratio of length to width. Tom.
