Hi All. I;m new here and was reading some of the post. I just bought a new Knight Long Range Hunter. I finally got to the range and the gun is exttreamly impressive. Attached is a photo of my 3 shot 100yard target. I'll let it speak for itself. Love the forum, lots of great info.

Welcome to the forum. Its good to have you here. You have what many consider one of the finest long range shooting muzzleloader made. The Knight Long Range Hunter is impressive. I have seen a video where Knight sponsored hunters were shooting the LRH and Knight Disc on a pronghorn hunt. They were smacking these goats at distances I could hardly believe.

What was the load you were using for make the rifle shoot so well. Also do you have a scope on the rifle? If so, what model?

Again, great to have you here and enjoy your rifle.

Sorry about the pic-file is too big. I'll have to work on that. Yes I have a Nikon pro Staff 3x9 on it, and the load was 105 grains of T-7 with a 250gr ballistic extream. The three shot group measured .263 center to center. Needless to say it was one ragged hole. Thanks for the welcome,I'm glad to have found the site

That is the same scope I use on my White Ultra Mag. That is a GREAT SCOPE!!! With a group like that I bet it took three days to stop grinning... That is a fine group. Like I said, in that Video (put out by Knight of course) they busted an Antelope at over 200 yards. It hunched, took one step and fell over... amazing.

It sounds like you have a great shooting rifle. Enjoy it. I sure would.

redline002 ... that is an excellent group. I can sure understand why you would be more then happy with that group. It looks like all you need is a little scope adjustment and after that the critters better make a wide circle around you.
