I have stated the fact that the Genesis is made by Traditions before but no one believed me!!! They are the same gun!!
I don't recommend either because I prefer the NEF Sidekick over them. I haven't shot any of them but I can tell you that the NEF is better quality for around the same price. You sould definetely look at the NEF before making a decision.

I agree wholeheartedly with your opinion regarding the NEF.
As to Traditions making both - they do not. Traditions actually makes little to nothing. They just import and market for the most part. The Yukon and Genesis are not quite the same rifle. There is primarily a difference in the Genesis being a pivot block while the Yukon uses a vertical sliding block. The Genesis can also be had in stainless steel and there are a few other less significant differences. Less significant except for retail pricing - the Yukon is much more reasonably priced.
