Bulk Primers?
My dad is thinking about getting an inline. I know that the primers they use are the same as what is used in a 12ga. Could you go to a reloading shot and buy bulk shotgun primers for an inline?

Yes but some of the rifles do not do well with full power 12 gage primers which is the reason they now make lower power primers specifically for muzzleloaders. You have to be a little careful as at first the primer makers were just packaging regular 12 ga. primers and calling them muzzleloader primers. Nowsome manufacturersactually make different ones although you have to know which ones are special.

So, before you go buying several housand 209's, make sure the ones you plan to use can be pulled out of your breechplug seat without too much struggle.

I like the T7's considerably. They leave it fairly clean and burn hot. I even dropped them in the snow, stuck them in there and they still fired no problem.
I still say get the CCI's. The T7's aren't worth the extra money. The only reason I got them is because the store only had them or the Remington's(yuck).
