Yes, there a PRB (patched round ball) folk who think traditional is only shooting PRB, but they have fibre optic sights and drive up in an SUV or Pickup. In my mind it is whatever shoots more accurately in your rifle, that could be a PB, a PRB, an all lead conical or a Saboted bullet. Older traditional rifles with twists of 1-60 and 1-72 we designed to shoot PRB. Maybe that is what he means. If he means slow twist traditional rifles that is true. There are newer rifle, the TC Firestorm is an example, which are FL but have 1-28 twist and are designed to shoot sabots with Pryodex, which is not traditionally a good FL powder. So his statement is inaccurate. Some of the newer traditional rifles like the TC Hawken are 1-48 twist and will shoot both PRB and canonical well. They shoot sabots oK also, as specified in the TC FL Manual, which is in PDF format on the Web on TCarms web site.
