My question is what will be the equivlant of the loose powder compaired to the pellets. I need to know where i should start and do you have any tips for a first time powder user?

RE: knowledge needed
same here
I would like to start getting some great groups and some serious testing time in. It would be great to test different bullets, powder, grains, etc.
Today there was a 35 mph wind but I shot my gun anyways. I was wise enough to stay at 50 yards. My first shot was with my 300 grain bullet and I hit bullseye. The next 12 were with 230 grains ones. These hit 6 inches high and not very tight. Í know one thing for sure and that's that the 300's shoot best in my gun. Of course, that is what I sighted in with. Tinkering's fun. I would sure like to get some more in.
Good luck with yours. Do keep us posted.
