How do you carry your stuff?

How do you carry your stuff?
Looking into possible bags for carrying my stuff out in the field and was wondering what you guys use.
I thought of using the same belly bag I use when fishing but I've seen some leather belt bags in the Dixie catalog that might hold a load better. Then there's the traditional strapped bag.
What have you found that works great out in the field and where can it be bought?
Thanks-

RE: How do you carry your stuff?
I always wear a small backpack when I hunt to carry calls, water, food, maps, gps, tags, etc. I just bought a small cammo bag that has a velcro loop that will velcro around the top carrying loop of my backpack. I carry my extra loads, extended jag, round puller, and 'T handle' in there. When I bow hunt I take off the smaller bag, when I BP hunt I just velcro it back on.

but if i have alot i use a gear belt which good but thay can get sniged on stuf
The belt is good it can cary all your stuff and its also good for Bow hunting

I use a fanny pack. It is also a hand warmer. It has three pockets so I can seperate the different components that I need to haul out into the field and know right where to look for them.
You want a cheap possible bag. Take an old pair of blue jeans. You know after you wore the knees off them for the 5th time. Cut the legs off them near the bottom of the crotch, and double sew the legs shut with a strong quality thread. I used cat gut. Then fold them in half like you were going to put them in a drawer. Sew the bottom of the legs together and the side of the open seam up. Now you have two double pockets large enough to haul anything, plus smaller outside pockets for your primers, jags, etc. On the legs you cut off, take the side seams, sew them together, and then make a strap out of that. Sew that to your main pouch and you have a cheap homemade possible bag. A rope through the belt loops can be pulled together and tied to close the top of the bag if you like. They will get you by until you can purchase a PC one that will not do as good a job for you...

i got a tan canvas "map bag" at an army surplus store that's essentially one of those messenger bags about the size of a medium sized purse. it's perfect for taking what I need into the field, especially hauling in calls for coyote.

RE: How do you carry your stuff?
Mike a lot of use use a fanny pack for hunting and I have yet to find a load that I could not carry in TC's quick loaders. I take a possables pouch and leave it in the car this works well for me it is easy to keep the rattles away.
For the range I take an 8 inch wide two tray 20 inch long tackle box and I have every thing I may need layed out and always in the same place so I dont waste my shooting time looking for small items. Also a really good capper and a couple extra quik loaders in a sealed zip lock bag .Lee
